Part of the author proceeds from the sale of The Magic Butterfly goes to Paperland.org, a community organization that works with the protection of children’s rights. Paperland helps children connect to the magic of nature, nurtures their wellbeing and gives them a place to voice their dreams and visions for the future through creativity and arts. Paperland reaches out in places where the fundamental children’s rights like play and freedom of expression are scarce, to create room for hope and growth.
This Magic Butterfly is not only a universal story of transformation and a beautiful hard copy book, but a swarm of hope that sends playful pauses to children who need a little extra magic. The donation of the first edition book has been sent to hospitalized children in Denmark together with seed postcards for planting hope, magic and wildflowers in the world.
