Seven Generations

She had been running

for Seven Generations.

Ever followed.

Ever haunted.

by a constant shadow of Business

that never showed his true face.

A feeling of Never Enough.

always of More.

She decided to stop.

To Pause.

To make a Halt.

In the midst of a world,

that was still running,

it was the bravest thing,

She had ever done.

She knew it was time.

Her Body had showed her.

Her Mind had told her.

Her Heart had whispered to her.

As She stopped to listen,

to the Howl of the Wild Wolf of her own Instinct

to the Guidance of the Wind Words within her own Soul

to the Wisdom of her own Knowing

It is Enough.

You are Enough.

And so she decided

to set out on a New Road.

Even if it was a lonely one.

Even if she had to take the first steps

on her own.

With no guarantees,

with no traffic signs.

with no Path to step unto

except the Wild Ways of her own heart.

She knew, she had to be a different kind of brave

for her Ancestors,

for her great Grand Children,

for Herself.

And so she stepped out,

and so she stepped up.

For the next Seven Generations.
