She had been running for so long.

She didn’t even realize.

 

The Pleasing.

The Guessing.

The Never-not-good-enough Journey.

 

The Eternal Walk-about.

It had been such a long journey.

It had lasted her entirely Life.

 

She had decided it had to stop.

She tried to find a new way. 

She was told to retreat into her own heart.

Where are all the jewels of wisdom resided.

And finally, finally

She found herself there.

In the middle of the treasure

At the end of the rainbow.

Stripped bare.

 

Finding nothing.

 

But possibility.
