November Full Moon

The November Full Moon is a potent window of opportunity to reinvent ourselves, realign our past steps and future paths, build our Winter Nests, and welcome the subtle energies of the coming year and our next chapters.

Building the Winter Nest

The Beaver Moon got its name from the Old Farmer’s Almanac, referring to the time of year when beavers are busy building their dams before winter arrives. At this time, beavers begin to take shelter in their lodges, having laid up sufficient food stores for the long winter season. As the temperatures drop, these industrious creatures thicken their pelts and strengthen their dams to survive the long freeze ahead.

Beavers are mainly nocturnal and take advantage of the dazzling lunar light to construct their cosy homes. The Beaver Moon signals the last chance for most creatures to build a home before the winter season sets in. Like the beavers, we too can take this opportunity to take stock, to replenish mind, body and soul, and prepare for the chilly days ahead.

The Beaver Moon is also known as the Frost Moon or the Freezing Moon, and with good reason, for winter is right around the corner. Unlike summer’s bright hues or autumn’s golden glow, November’s moonlight is ethereal, stretching over the land like an otherworldly spotlight, offering a unique nocturnal beauty to those willing to brave the cold November air.

Window of Opportunity

The Beaver Moon is a restless calling for you to build your own dam as a bridge to new land, and to dream up something daring and new in your life. Think of this Full Moon as an exciting window of opportunity to completely reinvent yourself. Just like a child who takes on different personas through play, under this Full Moon you are supported to connect with the power of play and try out different roles.

This is a time to try and test whether a new way of seeing and being yourself feels more suitable and more honouring of everything you are, after all that you have been through and all that you have learned along the way.

Shed Your Past (Self)

As we approach the New Year and you find yourself sifting through the memories and lessons of this year, you may also begin to realise that you are so much more powerful now. Perhaps you are softer too, perhaps more bold, perhaps more free.

This is the time to experiment with your own private make-over of who you are, based on how you feel, and to gift yourself the opportunity to let go of the old identities that you – or others – hold you in, so that you can shine more brightly through the newfound wisdom of who you truly are.

As children we are not afraid to try something new or play a new role each day, but as adults we often hold ourselves captive to the many roles we take on in life. This is the time to set them aside for a while (you can always take those self-imposed burdens back later, right?) and explore the idea of seeing yourself through a new lens. Who are you now? The November Full Moon offers unconditional support and becomes your playmate in this sacred game of next-level uplifting.

Things to Let go of:

  • Personas that no longer represent you

  • People-pleasing

  • The “shoulds” of your life

  • Being nice rather than being direct

  • Superficiality

  • Identities from the past

  • Negative thoughts

  • Words that diminish you or others

Your Word is Your Power

During this Full Moon, pay attention to the power of your words, as you are given the support and confidence to make the changes that are for your higher good and self.

You may feel as if you have two minds or voices. If you are torn between two ways or decisions, choose the one that feels best, even though it may seem too bold or intimidating in this moment. This is the time to take the road less travelled when faced with the choice between what you have always done or stepping into a new way of being.

The November Full Moon is here to remind us to be aware of the power of our attention, our words, and our thoughts. Encouraging reflection on the connection between how we think, how we perceive reality, how we speak to ourselves, and how we speak to others, this Full Moon invites us to notice repetitive thinking loops and beliefs that no longer serve our growth and empowerment. By becoming more aware of our inner dialogue and recognising the link between our thoughts and emotions, we are given the opportunity to embody a new level of presence and, from there, make different choices.

Dare to Dream,

Dare to Speak

Stage Rehearsal for Your New Year

December is a month for culminations and new beginnings, and this Moon is a time for saying farewell to the old and starting to dive into the upcoming energy of the New Year with a little inner-stage rehearsal of sifting and sorting through what you want to let go of and what you want to build upon. This will prepare you for the evolutionary energies of the new year, where you will be called to have the courage to fulfil your dreams and your destiny!

‘Wait, what, really?’ your inner voice might object. The November Full Moon will answer boldly and firmly, ‘YES darling, really!’ Know that any form of communication will be extra potent arond the days of the Full Moon, so use your words wisely, especially towards yourself.

Take some time to write down your feelings or thoughts to gain clarity about your deepest desires, who you are now, and the longings you wish to manifest in the new chapter of your life. Express the words through your higher self’s soul voice – it is waiting to be heard.

Under this Full Moon, dare not to think it up, but to dream it up!

Full Moon blessings to all,

Practices for the November Full Moon

Prepare your Winter Nest

With November as your threshold, begin creating your Winter Nest — a sacred inner garden where you can rest, reflect, and renew. This is a sanctuary for your mind, body, and soul to flourish during the colder months.

Plant seeds of intention, gratitude, and creativity. Nurture them with gentle attention, self-care, and mindful reflection. Let go of what no longer serves you, and make space for the qualities, dreams, and energies you wish to grow.

Return to your Winter Nest whenever you need grounding, clarity, or a reminder of your inner abundance. Dream, imagine, and quietly prepare for the new beginnings ahead.

Find Moments of Inner Peace

Life moves quickly, but within you lies a quiet sanctuary. Take a moment each day to pause, breathe, and reconnect with your inner calm. Even a few mindful breaths can restore balance, clarity, and presence.

Notice the small pauses between tasks, the spaces in your day where stillness can exist. Let these moments become a refuge — a gentle place to release tension, quiet your mind, and listen to your heart.

Whether through meditation, mindful walking, journaling, or simply sitting in silence, allow yourself to return to this inner peace. It is a source of strength, clarity, and renewal, ready to guide you through this season of life.

Reflect and Give Thanks

Take a quiet moment to pause and reflect. Consider your life as it is now, and take stock of all that you have experienced — the challenges you have faced, the lessons you have learned, and the growth you have achieved.

See how far you have come, and allow yourself to feel gratitude for both the joys and the struggles that have shaped your journey. Acknowledge the people, experiences, and opportunities that have supported you along the way.

By reflecting and giving thanks, you create space for clarity, peace, and a deeper appreciation of your life. Let this practice remind you of your resilience, your achievements, and the blessings that continue to unfold.

From All the Ways,
it didn’t work.

All the Detours,
all the Setbacks,
all the Attempts.

They led you to Here.
They led you to Now.

They led you to
the Right Place.

They led you back to You.
They led you back to your Heart.
They led you back to your Art.
