Hammershus, Bornholm.

At Hammershus on the island of Bornholm, the conditions for getting a glimpse of the astro signs are especially good. Here you can see the stars earlier in the evening, and it is easy to walk around in the darkness on the big trails around the 80-old old castle Hammerhus that evokes quite special feelings.

On Samsø there are several places with almost zero light pollution. On of these places are Kragemosen by Nordby Bakker.

Bulbjerg

Bulbjerg is best known as the impressive 47 m tall rock and bird colony. But is is also an amazing place to experience the night sky- and if you are really lucky, you can also see the Northern Lights. The Northern Lights is a stunning display of colours that play across the dark skies in swirls of green, purple, blue and yellow. Particles in the upper atmosphere are hit by high energy electrons causing the lights in the sky to swirl around. If you’re in the right part of Scandinavia and the conditions are just perfect, you’ll enjoy an unforgettable show.
